I wrote my first poem in 2009 at the age of 15, titled, Examination. Though I started writing serious poems in 2013, initially it was a short story, titled, friend of my disappointment followed by numerous poems.

I have participated in several national poetry competitions; 2014 UNwomen Malawi (Violence against Women and Girls), World Bank Malawi End Poverty Competition (2015) and University of Malawi(UNIMA) @ 50 poetry Competition (2015).

My first ever poem published was in 2016 in an anthology of Unima @_50 works, (a highly recommended and was chosen as very creative poem in the competition ‘still more you have pulled through’).

Writing is therapeutic to me (my depression years are my inspiration). Currently I am studying Bachelors degree in educational humanities (human performing science and creative arts) at Domasi College of Education, going into fourth year.
