I am the son of Zuzekile and Nozukile Solani. I was born on 25 April 1995, in a large village known as Mkhomanzi (today Gebane) in Eastern Cape. I have an older brother, Yandisa(born 1993)and a younger sister Nomakhwezi(born 1996).
My grandmother, Mambanjwa Solani (born 1920) raised me after losing my parents at a young age.
I studied commerce subjects at Tutor Ndamase High School. At the age of 20 I graduated from high school. Though I passed with satisfying marks, I never went to college.
I enjoy reading books, and listening to hip hop and soul music. I am inspired by an American writer, Morgan Rice.
My favourite books are A Throne For Sister and The Sorcerer’s Ring ,both by Morgan Rice.
Right now I am writing poetry and my poems are published by FunDza Literacy Trust. I am also working on a novel. And i’m interested in writing essays.
