Been in this prison for too long,
This darkness has turned to light
It’s all silent and sad thoughts
I wonder: “Is this where my soul belongs?”
It is true that a smile can tell lies,
Even laughter can make fake sounds
They say: “Not every male is a man”
It’s true, how can I feel pain if I’m man?
How can my heart break,
And water my pillow with tears
If I’m man?
How can a man live in this darkness?
How can a man be so miserable?
These secrets are heavy even for a man
How can I come out and say?
How can I tell them, that all is a lie,
That this life, this man is not real?
Do I tell them before I die?
Or will I be buried with a heavy heart?
