Which freedom?
We say we are free
But are we really free?
They own our resources
They own our raw materials
Our gold, iron ore and diamonds
We work for them
We extract our raw materials
And they pay us low wages
Then sell to us manufactured goods
At higher prices
Is this freedom?
Cause to me it is not
How can we be free when there is unfair trade
How can we be free
When they own our mines
And we are quiet
our own leaders are corrupted
They are stealing our money
Taxes are getting higher
Salaries are not increasing
They are getting richer
We are getting poorer and poorer
Yet they are being praised
