As I look back
On this road for two
Regretful tears elude
My eyes to shame
And my cheeks
Wet, with my pitiful tears

I forgot
Love is like a seesaw
That needs to be balanced
Then, lust covered my eyes
For selfishness filled my heart

As it went bias balanced
With a frustrated fall
Towards a weighty side
It broke a fulcrum of balance

Now stranded
In a wilderness of thoughts
I caught up with my senses
To beg your pardon
And to seek refugee
In your arms again

But this time forever
Though regret has no remedy
In this regard
Your forgiveness is my remedy
