There’s a two-lane road that is as long as a rod. It connects the Oshoek boader gate to the rest of South Africa like an umbilical cord.

This road has no bridges and never sleeps. It is as busy as an airport and has a lot of portholes. It also has sharp curves and corners and a lot more short cuts with impatient taxi drivers and vehicles from every province.

I for one have witnessed it get away with murder. It is in this road that a lot of drunk and reckless drivers have crushed our gentle children and harmed our harmless livestock.

The road with no fear but timber has made life a survival of the fittest with its morning mist and corrupt traffic cops that bend the rules of the law like rubber.
