I was born on the 1st of February 2003 in Boitekong, I was the last born. I have four brothers and my mother passed away while I was three months, so me and my brothers Tumisang and Mogomotsi had no one since my mother’s family didn’t want to take us in. We went to live with my grandmother. My grandmother raised us well.

We attended school at Sedupe Primary School and Magriza made sure that we never went to bed with an empty stomach and my clothes were always clean. Every month-end my father would buy food for all of us. In 2014, I was in Grade 6 and on June 17, I heard that my grandmother had passed on. I was so sad and it felt like it was the end of the world. When we buried her, I cried over and over.

After the funeral, Tumisang, my brother, received a called from Samancor saying that he had got the job after many months of trying to find one. So he decided to move to Rustenburg. Mogomotsi and I were still in school so we had no breadwinner and things were tough. My dad decided to move in with us and things started to get better.

I started following my older brother’s footsteps. I started to bet on soccer and I won over R500 000. However, things started to be bad again, some people started to bewitch my family. Every week we had to bury a member of the family and I hope that God will help me find the person who is doing this to my family; this person may never find any peace.
