There are many roads and Lanes but none quite like me ,Afrika Road
A long, dark and beautiful road of tarmac flatted on the ground divided by obstinate white line
The line by law
Divided me into two from a whole
I,Afrika Road
Who’s has witness everything the Earth has ever done
I have endured the height and weight of living creatures that once travelled on me
I have witnessed weddings and childbirths
The beauty and the beast of the world
All the dusty and soil-eroded lanes
Year in and year out
Birth in and death out
I hold them all in my chest
I only forgot the crest and casket for those who died in my hands
I swallowed the tears of the broken ones
Sucked the blood of the deceased
I became devil who was only sinned washed away by the rain
By the way I never sinned on my own
I,Afrika Road
I’ve witnessed AK 47’s, Scorpion automatic pistol and bazooka scenes
Sadly it was all on me I was the setting
Bombing blast that cracked me I know them
Then later they would replace and repair me
But one day I will shake and crumble on my own
The earthquake will be blamed
Taking thousands of innocent in me
That would be my vengeance for my heart u broken to pieces I couldn’t find peace even for my body that was killed by the corpse that were buried in it
One day I’ll
I ,Afrika Road
