It hurts me to see some other people on media, laughing at Makhadzi because of some wrong spellings on her posts. Why is that people check those spellings instead of celebrating those achievements with her? We all know that she’s born aVenda, obviously English is not her mother tongue. Even most of us Africans, we do not speak fluent English. We also make errors in writing, reading and speaking English.

Maybe because she’s a celebrity, she’s suppose to transform herself in one day and be fluent in English. Worst part is that people who are laughing at her, they can’t even compare their achievements with hers. She’s doing great for her life and her family.

I like her because she appears to be strong and I hope thats what she really is. She’s not intimidated by other people’s negativity. She doesn’t define herself as other people view her. She’s living her life to the fullest.

What I have realised is that other people will always find something to hate or embarrass you. When you have worked so hard to achieve what you have, and you accomplished most of your dreams. They laugh at your broken English.

You hustle and have little things, they say ‘ you think you are better than us’. Even when you have nothing they still hate you. Because if they try and help you…’they think you’ll achieve more than them’

When are we going to stop this judging and embarrassing thing? Most people take it to heart and it’s killing their self-esteem. We are all different, we deal with situations in different ways. You don’t know how other people deal with embarrassment. Let us correct each other without embarrassing people –  but I don’t know if that’s possible on social media.

But we also need to understand that English is not our mother tongue. It is a language learned from school or wherever you learned it. Remember you can still fail with fluency in English, as long as you are not blessed or working hard to achieve in life. Lets learn to appreciate our differences. Also let’s celebrate each others achievements. GOD LOVES US ALL.

Makhadzi Congrats in all of your achievement, you are a true inspiration, PAIN YA JEALOUS.

AFRICANS – WHICH IS BETTER:
SPEAKING FLUENT ENGLISH EVEN WHILE YOU ARE STRUGGLING TO ACHIEVE YOUR DREAMS?
OR
SPEAKING BROKEN ENGLISH WHILE YOU HAVE ACHIEVED YOUR DREAMS?
