Many times things do not go according to plan. You can plan to study Law but end up not having enough APS or you can plan to work in a reputable Law firm after graduation but they don’t hire you. This does not mean the world has ended.
I have heard many of my high school mates saying they would rather not study because their applications were not accepted at the universities of their choice or they weren’t accepted for a particular course but accepted for another they made a second choice for the sake of choosing. Or some just say they would never go to the college or a varsity doesn’t take them. Okay, reality check, what you want is not happening so what are you doing to make sure it happens? Are you rewriting the subjects that can give you the required APS? Are you applying for Diploma courses instead of Bachelor’s at your desired university or are you just sitting around?
Waiting for God knows what will not help. Go to that college you don’t want to go to while you’re trying to figure out what to do with your life. Do a bridging course( higher certificate) for your desired qualification, it won’t hurt, you were going to stay at home anyway. Life won’t always be sweet and it won’t always be hard. It’s up to you what you do to make it go your way.
There’s nothing wrong with going to a college. A college and university are two different institutions with the same aim of providing you with higher education to leave the institution a qualified person. If you’re sitting at home judging between the two but still not doing anything better with your life, you will get a reality check in your 30s when your friends have made it in life and you’re just there having nothing to show of your youth. Be wise and be woke. Wake up and actually do something to be something.
