This is my last year,
To attend school at Mokwatedi High.
At Ga-Molepo next to Boyne.
I’m doing my matric there,
And I did respect all my teachers,
Take them as my builders,
And I did put on a uniform,
And talk in front of my classmates.
At times they clapped hands for me,
Because I did tell them poetry.
They laughed a lil,
And asked if I could do it again,
At another function, they were organising.
The hard part,
Was when they asked me to tell jokes.
I did not tell jokes,
Because I am not a comedian,
I prefer to leave the jokes to comedians.
