I am fragile and pale
A porcelain doll
I can break if you drop me
Leaking all my secrets that are untold

I hope for rainy days
So that I can see the rainbows
That dance through the sky
Filling me with happiness
As the judgement stands aside

Let alone I stand
Beaten and bruised
By words and prejudice
As the haters watch amused

I am looking for hope
As they are looking for me
I stand for one
I stand for all
Yet make one mistake, we might all fall
Deep down into darkness
Where there is nothing at all

How long will we walk
Until we are actually free?
When will we smile?
And live gleefully?
We live in the shadows
Watching the rain fall
Just so that we can see the rainbows
Although nothing comes at all

We play the music late at night
Where we dance and kiss until we are out of sight
Creeping to the lakes
Escaping those who judge our mistakes

Reaching new fantasies of utter delight
While we run away from the people
Who want to abolish our rights

Sometimes we fail to think about the things that are important
Can we not speak up?
And put on our masks of dauntless?
Unfortunately we cannot
Ask society why not

The haters love watching us
Crumble and fall
As we scream and shout
For only happiness and all

How long will we swim
Until we eventually drown?
Deep down into the depths
Where everything is less profound

Yet we do not get our opportunity
To swim or dance or walk or to watch the rain
Because prejudice takes hold of us
As it weighs us down with excruciating pain
Which tears away our bonds of hope and trust

They say the sky is the limit
When there is footprints on the moon
Then why can we not be free?
Give us a boat
So that we can escape to the sea

Let alone we all stand
Beaten and bruised
By words and prejudice
As the haters watch amused

So we watch from the shadows
Waiting for the rain to fall
Just so that we can see the rainbows
Although nothing
Comes at all…
