I remember the time when I had to pretend that everything was fine.
I remember him sleeping on his death bed with no hope of waking up.
I was literally in tears and I couldn’t bear it any longer.
I remember him trying by all means to fight for his life, but he couldn’t.
I just felt like giving up and I thought I also deserved to die.
I remember him holding my hands saying, “My child you must strive for happiness in life.”
Well those were his last words for me.
I remember him taking his last breath and saying his last goodbyes.
