As you begin a new chapter,
Ensure that you invest all that you
Are and all that you stand for
– blood, sweat, and tears –
To build bridges that will stand the test of time.

As you come to the end of a chapter,
And take time out to reflect,
Please look over your shoulder,
And inspect the structure you have built,
For the future is not certain.

Give thanks for all the trials and tribulations
You have had to face, because without them
You would have never known the strength
Of the bridges you have built.

Each pillar was erected as a result of
The many challenges I faced.
Every nail hammered in because I refused to accept defeat.
These are just some of the circumstances
