When Jesus was baptised
The Holy Spirit came down on him like a dove
He comforted him and helped him
He guided him, even to the wilderness He led Him

O Holy Spirit fall afresh on us
Like you did that blessed day
On the Lord our Saviour,
And on those who asked and waited in faith
On Pentecost day

Not everyone receives Him –
For they fail to see Him
But we wait for Him
So we can be filled by Him
