My friends and I arrived at Cape Town train station. We were happy because we were going to Robben Island. The station was getting ready for the World Cup, and there were beautiful shiny, slippery tiles.

I was getting out of the train, chatting to my friends, glad that this gorgeous girl had joined our group, excited about our outing. I put my foot out, shouting, “2010 here we come!” And in front of the crowd I went slipping down flat on my face on the tiles, with the sounds of my friends’ laughter in my ears, including the girl. I was so embarrassed.

Eish!
