What has gone wrong with society?
I find myself asking this question
I dare myself to search for the answer
There’s Gender Based Violence,
There’s high rates of women and children abuse
People are raped
And somehow,
I too don’t know how,
A woman cries rape and abuse,
Her case is given all the attention,
We have ‘#JusticeFor’ doing the rounds every now and then
“Men are trash” we say,

Should a man dare cry rape and abuse,
It will be brushed off like no one’s business
How sad and breaking.
Women are also trash, it’s just that men don’t say much about it,
Unfortunately.
