Silently making their way down the curves of her skin
They get captured in the light
Shining like small diamonds
For if they were to fall endlessly
We’d be rich
They make their journey through the pasty air
And fall on silk where they melt like ice on fire
They keep falling and melting
Leaving a wet stain on her silk sheets
She travels to a world so far
Whereby she dreams of drowning in a rushing river
The rush of adrenaline she feels
Is nothing compared to the burning sensation her smooth skin felt
Wishing it could be so much more
Her mind calms as she closes her eyes
White as snow
Bright as sunlight
Her vision gets blinded
Leaving her falling to a world where broken souls reside
