She danced
She danced to the beat of her own drum
She danced to the music on her head
She danced to the rhythm of her own
She danced her own moves
She danced
When she danced the universe responded
When she danced dust rised up
When she danced the wind blew
When she danced the buildings started shaking
She danced
She danced her striking dance
On the spacious hall.
She danced her magical dance
To the amicable crowd.
When she danced
The crowd thought she was thrilled,
Yet she was melancholy.
The crowd cheered for her,
They didn’t realize she was disillusioned.
The crowd celebrated her,
Not realising they celebrated her pain.
She danced
She danced her spiritual danced,
Letting her spirit free,
Free from the pain, lies and gossips.
She danced her spiritual dance,
Securering her spirit.
She danced
When she danced,
she released her emotions.
She was physically there,
Metaphorical absent.
Her soul was in another world,
A world that she always dreamed of,
A world of peace and harmony.
