or loved by you.

I am done begging

Done being your fool.

You made me jump through hoops just to be with

you.

I lost my dignity in the process

and my self-respect

wanting your love.

I can’t make you love me if you don’t.

That would be delusional of me.

It was just silly of me to think that you would be the

person I hoped you would be.

You’ve hurt me and I forgive you.

And I will accept that apology you never gave to me.

I have to leave you

with the little pride that I have left,

To be with the one whose happiness matters most

and that is Me.
