We were told without you we are nothing,

But the future states otherwise.

Our forefathers failed to provide you

To our parents,

Which led to where we are; but to those who were privileged to have you,

Are miles away from us; then you were indeed a key to success.

Today, we have treasured you and allowed you

To dominate in our lives, yet we are disappointed.

We hold all types of degrees and certificates but we are nowhere.

Those without you are very successful, and they brag

About how we waisted our time in you,

Are you still a key to success?

Or someone has replaced you?
