“Your ex wife went through the same thing and what did you do? You just sat there as if she just gone completely insane. Don’t expect me to do more for you after what you did to my friend. My late friend.” She said this with tears in her eyes not wanting for them to fall as she looked at Connor remembering her friend specifically her late friend who died with Connor looking at her before walking away.
“And you know what? I’m happy that this is happening to you right now.”
“Lindi? Lindi? Lindi? Please don’t do this, save him. I’m in a better…….” Lindi looked all around her house wanting to know where that voice was coming from that sounded like her late friends voice.
“Don’t turn into this dark person Lindi. I’m in a better place please listen to me.” The voice continued saying with Lindi coming to a stand still looking near her grandmother’s favorite chair on which her late friend Sindi was sitting, looking at her with the most sincerest smile you could ever encounter.
Lindi walked towards her late friend with her heart beating as if she just saw a ghost of which was true not partly true.
“Why are you crying? Please don’t cry. I’m in a much better place and I’m happy there. Please don’t cry.” Sindi said to Lindi who was near her crying while trying to wipe Lindi’s tears of which was not possible.
“Why did you have…” Lindi could not finish was she was about to say because her late friend Sindi interrupted her saying, “No. It was my time. I never left too soon it was my time and again do the right thing. I’ll wait for you on the other side.” She told Lindi before disappearing leaving Lindi and Connor dump-stuck.
Lindi slowly went to untying his hands along with his feet before placing Connor’s hand on her shoulders telling him to walk slowly taking him to the hospital.
Lindi felt bad after realizing that what she was doing was not good and it was not going to bring back her friend whom she had known her whole life. A friend she loved with her entire being who was always there for her.
