The question that’s running around my mind is of an African. What makes an African an African? Is it your culture and heritage? Is it the love and passion of your continent? Or is it just a geographical thing? What makes us African? If we come out and say an African is each and every black person. Let’s take African-Americans for example, yes their roots are from Africa but some of them, if not most of them, don’t care what happens in the so-called dark continent.

For me your skin colour doesn’t make you an African, it just makes you an African looking American, European etc, as much as a European looking African being African? What makes you an African?? Is it the love and passion for this continent? Do you really take time to know your nearby countries? Do you bother yourself to know the ins and outs of other Africans? Do you ask yourself why is it that one of the richest continents (in minerals) is still having some of the poorest people, if not the poorest people in the world. The question still remains, what makes an African an African???
