It is important we know how our foods are made but I will be focusing on how sugar is made .

The process of how sugar is made.

1.Farmers grow sugar cane.

2.The sugar cane is taken to factories.

3.In the factory the sugarcane is cut into pieces.

4.The pieces are then washed and crushed.

5.The juice in the sugarcane is pressed out.

6.The juice is dried out to form sugar crystals.

7.Brown sugar is made from the crystals

8. Some of the brown sugar is refined or purified to form white sugar
