Once upon a time, there was a poor girl called Asante who was living in a small village called Mhlathuze. She lived near the forest with her old grandma.

Asante was a hard worker and she was beautiful humble and respectful. She was a dark skin, brown eyes, long black hair and short and her voice was extremely amazing; she sang like a bird.

The following day Asante went to the river to fetch water and the prince was going to the forest to get some herbs for her sick grandma. He hears a nice voice coming from the river and follows that voice and he saw a dark girl and hid behind the trees. He goes back home quickly and tells his father to make an announcement to call all the village girls because he wants to choose a princess.

The next day all the girls from the village came, but there is one girl who didn’t arrive. The prince looks Asante, but she was not there. The prince went to look for Asante and he found her sitting with her grandma outside. The prince asked Asante to marry him and Asante said yes.

From that day prince Stephan and princess Asante lived happily ever and they have two beautiful twins, a boy and girl.
