Epilogue

Detective James Vilakazi kept his word to Liz, and although help had sadly arrived too late for Agnes Motsamai, her daughter had been found in a brothel in Yoeville. She was pretty traumatised, but she was still alive.

The teenager was now living with her aunt and her two little sisters in Orlando West.

Silas Baloyi, on the other hand, had gone to court and was found guilty on all counts. He was then sentenced to six life sentences, including for the attempted rape of an officer of the law. James had sat in the back of the courtroom and watched on as they dragged Silas Baloyi away. The smirk had finally been wiped off his face.
