Just before dawn dawned against my guard,
The air was joyous, the sun shining bright like a diamond.
Heat piercing me subcutaneously,
The gayness appearing evident until it was said ‘you a retard sadly’…
My supposedly best mate had uttered what pierced me abashedly,
My supposedly best mate’s utterances were no blunt words,
And my supposedly best mate’s skin was smooth unlike a dotard.
Immensely hurt was my heart, though peace was eventually restored.
