What’s in the tin?
Young minds that need to be moulded, groomed and shaped
But they are limited by a shadow that is covering a country.
What’s in the tin?
Smile givers carrying hearts
but they are limited by hatred and anger.
I am talking about young people
who bring happiness to the country.
What’s in the tin?
Candles of the country, lights of the world
But they are limited by a shadow of pain.
I am talking about young people
who live under the pain of everyday.
What’s in the tin?
Negative thoughts and evil minds
that need to be renewed with positivity.
What’s in the tin?
Story tellers of tomorrow, dreamers, designers, crafters,
waiting for their country to give them a hand
so that they can freely express themselves.
What’s inside the tin?
Young people who are waiting with wings
to show the world their gifts and talents.
They already see their dreams from the youngest of ages.
What’s inside the tin?
Runners who expect to win the race,
to them the sky is the limit.
But it takes a country to pull out all the stops
to win the race with them.
What’s inside the box?
Young stars prepared to run the extra mile for a bright future,
but it will take a country’s sweat, blood and tears to help them.
Inside the tin are…
Young people
who need to be motivated, encouraged, counselled,
and loved to become who they want to be.
