The turmoil of joy,
it makes one’s soul tick.
The turmoil of joy,
it is as sharp as a woodpecker’s beak.
It takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions,
beneath and above, like a trick.
It reminds you that you have
a reminder to stick too,
a reminder of a storm
of enchanting emotions.
The emotions that rack, pack,
and unpack your fables.
It is a thief, it steals your joy.
It is a ninja, it kickboxes your joy.

The turmoil of joy,
how it makes me sick.
The turmoil of joy,
how it makes me empty.
It is like the ruins of a Caribbean island
filled with garbage landfills.
Many have drowned in their pool
of negative thoughts,
an epiphany that indeed
bad energies are frauds.
Bad energies should be locked
inside a cage with beasts.
The beasts that will feast
on the fake priests.
The beasts that will feast
on the turmoil that misleads.
Tear it down into shattered pieces
of stainless glass.

The turmoil of joy,
it is like a little fiendish plot.
The turmoil of joy,
it doesn’t announce it’s deployed.
You just see a large dark cloud
that spreads with unpleasant storm.
It tippy-toes into your life
in a different form.
It serves to fill a form that will serve to inform
that a smile can be stolen
by a single soul on a podium,
foes who have hearts as hard as aluminium.
This turmoil takes over and pretends
to be exclusive and premium.
To me, the turmoil of joy is persistent,
it seeks to persist and continue to scam.
To me, the turmoil of joy is non-existent,
hence its toxic effect is the minimum.
