As I was sitting at the door
Looking at a black child
Looking at the ridiculous life of a black child
Where is this life going to?
Our parents are crying day by day.
Things have changed,
Our parents are burying us.
Crying for their children who live like lunatics
Where is this life going to?

Fun has become our anthem
Partying has become our day to day habit
Alcohol is our day by day beverage
Teenage pregnancy rates is increasing
Graveyards are full of teenagers,
Black teenagers.
Where’s the wisdom of this black nation?

Alcohol,
Drugs.
But why?
Who brought these things to a black child?
Where is this life going to?
Is this God’s will?
Oh! Lord show us the great path
We are lost.
Change the mind of a black child
I plead you oh Lord
