I write to express what I feel that can only be expressed through writing
I write because it frees my mind
Because that’s what I was called to do
It’s God given and therapeutic

I write to give rise to those things that are supposed to be suppressed
I write to give voice to the voiceless and light to the shadowed

I write because oppression, depression and destruction become foreign when I write
I write because it gives me great joy and meaning to life
I write because I have reasons to write and because those reasons are reasons enough
