Cries from our old aged souls screaming “Humanity Africa!”
Tears falling down the rhino that witnessed, one died and lost the horn.
Taken away from motherland
Motherland that’s full of mothers without land.
Chased, chased away by enemies.
Dry lands, animals die, angry the dead are.
Hope had by the one on the ground, no place to lay the head
The lions’ streams went out to hunt, nothing found, coming back.
No work touched. Deserts in
Souls. Let it rain.
Hope had by the mother feeding the whole family alone.
In dark caves of “Khayelitsha”
Brothers fighting un-ending battles with drugs.
What happened Afrika?
Thought Afrika was full of dark sands and souls, stones and gold
What happened Afrika?
Hope had by the ones close to the river to be filled by rain.
Let the animals have the drink of
Life
HANG ON, HAVE HOPE AFRIKA,
ALL WILL BE WELL AT TIMES,
HOPE CHANGES IT ALL.
RAISE IT
SO HIGH
HOPE, HOPE ON AFRIKA!!! DONE!!!
