I have a maker,
He never allows me to speak out of turn,
He swallows my pride,
And bends my knees pointing downwards,
He indeed bends me to his will.
I have a maker,
He never allows me to lose sight,
In my way he always shines bright,
His guidance is solidly shaped,
And so I may never lose my way.
I have a maker,
His words are indeed directions,
Meant for me to follow with my actions,
He tames my earthly known nature
With his at times toughened nurture.
I have a maker,
He is my creator,
Everyone’s redeemer,
He forgives atonement,
And to one’s life he never brings torment.
