It is too broad a term
To be understood by the stereotypicals
For it encompasses happiness, joy and sorrows.
It is not about what one has achieved
But what one has conquered on the pilgrimage to victory
Joy is not about endless smiles on one’s face
And sorrow is not about undefined tears
We celebrate life, because we are living
We celebrate the passage of time.
We celebrate death,
For life’s journey has ended in this universe
Yet the beginning of life on the other side, of eternity
We celebrate the closing of eyes in the now
The sleeping moment of every soul existing
And then open them, on the other side
Only if one believes in life after death
