The mistakes I’ve made. The actions I’m not proud of, but I would like to call them something I’ve learnt from.
The biggest mistake I made was regretting my decisions. I wasted so much time thinking about them that I got depressed and anxious. Regretting keeps you a prisoner of negative thoughts, negative emotions and feelings of sadness.
When I look back at my past I realise that those mistakes I’ve made, they made me who I am today, and I can make better choices for myself. I’ve also realised that I am not my past, nor am I my mistakes and my failures. Out of all of this, one thing I don’t regret is pretending I was perfect because I realise that everyone makes mistakes.
Overall, what I’m trying to say is, regret is a waste of time, it just holds you back instead of you moving forward and exploring new things.
