On 27 September I was at a friend’s party. It was so amazing. Well, all of my friends had boyfriends. I was not interested in them. We were dancing. While we were dancing I made constant eye contact with another guy. I didn’t know that I could do that.

Jamal started saying: “So, are you in love with him?”

Then I said “No”, freaking out, “I don’t fall in love.”

But I could see that Jamal’s face had changed. Something was wrong.

“Jamal, what’s wrong. I can tell you kept quiet. Have I done something wrong?” I asked.

I walked away.

While I was buying myself a drink I could feel someone’s presence behind me. When I turned I saw him. I was scared.

He greeted me and asked me my name. Keeping my cool I said, “My name is Andy, and what’s yours?”

He said he was Elijah Winchester. Then he smiled at me.

“Can I have your number? Please don’t say no.”

I couldn’t help myself. I just gave him my number. I asked him to dance with me. He was relieved that I’d asked.

Then we started dancing. I could smell his perfume all around me. I loved seeing his beautiful green eyes, and his sexy body. It was like I could just fall right in front of him.

I got nervous. I told him I had to go. I left without saying a word to anyone, not even my friends. I went straight home.

I kept wondering what it was that I was feeling. What could it mean? Am I in love? I don’t know.
