It was in 2002, when I was six years old. My brother, my nephew Stanley and I were playing in the yard. Then my nephew was called by my uncle and aunt and was given nuts and he brought it; we started eating together.

After eating our nuts, we started running happily around the house. I never thought that it would be the last day of my nephew in this world.

Sometime later my nephew got a headache and I didn’t take it seriously. I thought maybe he was tired and he needed to rest. He went home to sleep and I stayed and played with my brother. After some time we went home because it was getting dark. We went to see my nephew, to see how he was feeling and that’s when I saw that he was serious. He was rushed to the hospital the same day.

It is not easy to lose a loved one. The following day we received a call saying Stanley had passed away.

We say rest in peace nephew, you are always on our minds.
