When she arrived I was in my room getting ready to go to town, putting my clothes in my wardrobe. She came in crying, saying that she was robbed on her way from Lundarf. Was she telling the truth? I thought. She was beautiful but so emotional. She had tears in her eyes; I was shocked by how much.

I came and stood next to her and we hugged for nearly five minutes. She started to move her lips forward, towards mine.

“What are you doing?” I asked.

She did not want to talk, but it was obvious that she desired me desperately. I started losing control as she held me closer. “No Mpume! I don’t want to take advantage of your situation. I think you need to go.”

What a stubborn person she was. Even though I scolded her, she did not want to let go of me. She came on so strong that I decided to leave, because she was my brother’s girlfriend so I didn’t want to cause trouble. I didn’t know whether she was acting emotional or she actually wanted me because she liked me. Maybe she just wanted to break my brotherhood with my brother.

I saw her the next morning wearing a pink sexy dress. She looked at me and winked. I avoided her for a few days but I was weak; she was winning me over.

On Saturday I went to my brother to visit him because we lived separately. I found that he was not home, but his girlfriend was there. She said that I could come in. She was just watching television anyway and she had made a special dinner. She set the table neatly for us to sit at. As I was busy eating, we had a conversation about how I should find a girlfriend and that being single was not cool at all.

I kept wondering why she would tell me all this, because they gave me no interest. They were always suspicious of me.

I asked her if her relationship with my brother was okay or not. She told me no; she didn’t want him anymore. She wanted me. After that, I don’t know what happened. I woke up in bed with her. All I remember was us having dinner and then…I don’t know.

Someone began to knock at the door then. Oh my God! What if it’s my brother? I thought.
