Sometimes when I see a black child participating in things that will ultimately demolish their lives my heart becomes sore.

Sometimes when I observe our people swimming in the pool of poverty, I ask myself what I can do to change their predicament.

Sometimes when I see South Africans discriminating against each other, I ask myself what needs to change to bring our people together.

Sometimes when I see people in authority acting like delinquents and looting the state coffers, I see that they do not know what it takes to be a leader.

Sometimes when I observe the killings happening in our communities my heart becomes sore,
I feel like there’s something I can do to bring change, but right now I have no such power.

Sometimes when I see the high rate of unemployment I assume that our authorities are making a fundamental mistake in not serving the interests of the majority of our people.
