Nicole Levin is a writer of books and educational material for children and young people. Her writing spans many different genres: picture books, short stories, non-fiction, poetry and plays. She also writes text books, learning materials and teachers’ guides. Nicole’s writing is published with publishers such as Shuters & Shooters, Cambridge University Press, Maskew Miller Longman, READ Educational Trust, and Imbizo Education.
Some of her titles of her pictures books are; Mandi and the Moonstones, The Art of Is-ing, Out of the Box, Sounds from the Inside Out, and In, Out and Around the World. Next year, she will be launching he first i- pad picture book called Have You Slurped Strawberry Soup.
Nicole has had an eclectic and varied career life: she has worked as a drama teacher, theatre director, improvisational actor, facilitator, and an English teacher to foreign language and special needs students.
She has a Masters Degree in Creative Writing from the University of New South Wales, Australia. From the University of Cape Town, she has a Bachelor of Arts Degree, Honours in Drama, and a Performers Diploma in Speech and Drama.
Nicole lives in Cape Town with her husband, two young children and their fluffy cat.
