I am a charismatic, introverted lady who mostly enjoys her own company.
I am a great lover of books, hard copy and e-books.
I spend most of my time reading novels, short stories, news articles or writing poetry sourced from introspection and the complexity of humanity as a whole.
I’ve always been a fan of FunDza books and during my free time I read as many books as I can on the website.
Recently I was looking for a book to read under the Latest Stories and Books section and as I was scrolling down I saw the question about wanting to get published so I clicked and read the guidelines. After understanding the guidelines I sent an email to the FunDza team with a poem that I wanted to have published. After a few weeks I received a response letting me know that my poem has been published and there was a link attached for me to be able to access it.
Reading continuously improves my vocabulary and understanding & speaking of the English language.
If not for reading I wouldn’t have been able to survive my unemployment days; although it is not unemployment that led me to reading. I’ve always loved reading from a young age and reading kept me sane when it was the only productive thing I could do when I had no job and had already completed my studies.
My words of inspiration are: “You learn something new everyday” and “If you cannot change it, don’t waste time worrying about it.”
