Maxine Jordan WAS my pseudonym and writing my ‘dirty little secret’.

I’ve chosen to own my words as they’re touching people and making a difference – which is why I started submitting my work to FunDza. I wanted to be a part of the FunDza experience, and since meeting the lovely staff of FunDza and Cover2Cover books at the pre-launch and book launch of the anthology ‘Hero Within and other writing’, I now have another family.

I hold a BCom (Informatics) degree and I’m a qualified chef, worked in both industries for several years, and finally found my true passion through FunDza’s help and encouragement with my writing.

Writing allows me to be free – to express myself and entertain you as well as share important information with you, the reader. Without you, there’s no audience. Without an audience, there’s no me. Thank you for
taking the time to read my work, and especially for your comments; they’re my favourite part – knowing what you think, how my writing made you feel – helps me improve as a writer.

If you’re an aspiring writer, like I was – don’t let anyone tell you it’s impossible.

Nothing is IMPOSSIBLE.
