I am Nkosiphendule Mkhontwana, and am 17 years old. I’m from Mqanduli in the Eastern Cape, and I’m currently doing grade 12. I grew up listening to icons such as Celine Dion, The Corrs, Tina Turner, Destiny’s Child, Westlife and Whitney Houston.

Music has been like food to me; it lifts me up whenever I am down. I can’t say what my favourite genre is because I can listen and write about everything, depending on my mood.
