I am a young and independent woman. I’m passionate and I love school. I regard myself to be a very open minded person, I’m always ready for new challenges. A graduate from the University of Limpopo, and currently a student in the Vaal University of Technology.

How did I become a writer for FunDza Literacy Trust?
I realized I had passion for writing and reading. I always had poems written years back and I didn’t know where I can publish them until I came across FunDza Literacy Trust on the internet.

How has the journey of reading and writing for enjoyment shaped/contributed to my life?
Writing gave me the confidence to explore new ideas. It has made me to ask questions about the importance of life. Through writing I learnt how to love. Moreover, it taught me to take risks, it shaped me to feel things instead of looking at the world through the lens of science.

The journey of reading has increased my thinking skills. It has increased my focus in life. Through reading I have a focused life, with more career goals in it. Furthermore, I learnt and think less and receive more through reading.
