If only I had data I would share this- totally worth it! I have also completed the course Better than a Pill and I found it so worthwhile, I even shared some of the articles! Fundza is doing a great job especially collaborating with Nal'ibale. With the presidential employment ( employment if educator assistants and general school assistants) reading championships were allocated, I just hope they'll be able to apply them fully because schools in rural areas really battle. Even Sports enrichment assistants were allocated but sadly there has been no sports activities in schools. Im trying hard to ensure that schools try by all means to include these activities. I have thus far approached one school because of the large enrollment at the school I have decided to solely focus in one school (high school) and see how it works out. This is what I plan to do: 1.Offer tutorials to help students better understand the curriculum and increase pass rate. 2. Co-ordinate a sports program with coaching 3. Offer mentorship through a Student Christian Association. It's going to require alot of effort and commitment consider I'm solo at this moment. But faith tells me its all possible.

Omg had no idea it was World Read Aloud Day today. But here is the thing I read aloud for my six year old son and his friend. I usually read for my son but it was the first time reading for his friend too (and apparently our puppies, who were also listening 🙄) We read the story of Hannah and her son Samuel from "The Bible for Children" by Louise Smit! I love love to be able to read to a group of children. The Book is in English but I always use Xhosa when reading aloud!
