One night while sleeping I felt something coming in between my thighs, it was cold and soft. I could feel that it doesn’t have hands nor legs cause it used its body to climb me. Then suddenly I was feeling hot, like real hot. My body temperature was high, I tried waking up but something was holding my head down and pressing my eyes not to open.

I used my body to fight but I couldn’t, this thing was stronger than me. It came inside my inner body for about an hour. Even though I shaking it didn’t stop it continued hurting me. I couldn’t scream cause my mouth was shut too. I had to use my mind to call out to the almighty.

I then put my heart and mind to the great Jehovah, I cried to him to help me. I kept calling him with my mute and tears. It’s said God is our of the so on that moment I wanted a testimony, I wanted him to save me. After a long time praying I felt something shifting the snake away from my thighs. And my eyes were able to open up. When I stood up I saw a huge snake laying next to my bed and a Tokoloshi trying to get out of the room. Then light came inside the room, not just any light but hot boiling light. It was like the sun was in my room. It stroked the snake that was on the floor into pieces then after the tokoloshe.

After a voice said “I’m your father and your saviour. Nor fear nothing when you have me in your heart” then it disappeared. The light quickly disappeared leaving my room dark again. I ran to turn on the light then sat on the bed shocked about what I saw. I couldn’t believe that my faith saved me from my enemies.

The next morning mama came into my room only to find it messy. She asked what happened and I told her everything. Mom got fed up with this but was more surprised to hear that what I went through. Mom got fed up with all this. She told me to bath and we leaving in 10 minutes. I didn’t ask too many questions I just did as I was told.

We went to this place I’ve never seen before. It’s scary on the outside yet beautiful on the inside. It is like heaven on the inside and there are houses built with glass. On our arrival a woman came out to welcome us and lead us to the reception. After sometime we were told the Great one was ready to see us and we were led to her office.

“Sorry sesi where is the great one?” I asked as I saw a little girl sitting in front of us.

“That’s the Great one” the woman who led us said to me.

I couldn’t understand how a 8 year old girl can be The Great one. Before we could tell her our problems she told us why we were there and involved everyone we worked with.

I was left in shock seriously. She told us what we need to do in order to defeat Mrs Nova. She told us to go to a river that all animals use to drink water and get the Centre water. Then go to the veld that has been deserted, get the soil so we could mix with the water. We were also told to buy groof salt, red vimbela and 8 candles with different colours.

We got all those things took them to the Great one. She prayed for the things then mix the stuff together. After she instructed me to remove all my clothing. She asked mom to apply the mixture to my whole body while praying. She said I shall mean every word as she will do the same. After I as supposed to bath but before I could she told me to say everything I want while I bath and in the next 10 minutes things will change. She told me that every word I’ll utter won’t be reversible, so I must be careful on what I’ll say.

It was time to bath and I said everything I wanted to happen and everything I desired in life, not forgetting Mrs Nova and her wickedness. After bathing I wasn’t allowed to dry myself so I just stood there waiting for magic to happen.

After 7 minutes I started feeling cold, then there was a little bit of wind. It became more windy and windy. Mom thrown me my dress to wear since I was dry. The Great one stood up holding a Bible and she started reading a verse of psalm. She repeated it over and over and it become more windy.

Out of nowhere Mrs Nova appeared, shouting and insulting, calling me a witch. The Great one kept on reading the verse as Mrs Nova kept on insulting us. We didn’t have time to be shocked, it was too late for that. Then there was thunder again, same thunder we heard at Mrs Nova’s house.

As always it heated 3 times the lightening stroked. Mrs Nova started to change as the lightening had no effect on us. There was thunder again the lightening still no effect. The Great one shouted that we should start praying.

I and mom went into our Knees and prayed. We prayed while the Great one was reading the verse over and over again. While Mrs Nova’s busy stroking us with the no effect lightening. It was God vs Satan thing. Mrs Nova got tired then she called her Tokoloshes to come and attack us but they couldn’t reach where we were standing.

As we were praying I felt the same light that rescued me the other night coming. When I opened my eyes, yes it was there. It was brighter than the other night so I had to close my eyes faster. The whole room become shaky, everything was falling off the floor.

I felt my heart beating faster than usual. I placed my hands on mama so I could have strength to continue with this war. The room was now hot she windy at the same time. I opened my eyes again and spotted the great one still reading the verse as like she is unlocking a curse. Even though everything was falling she was still standing still like a street light.

Mrs Nova didn’t went to go down without a fight. She kept on fighting meanwhile she saw that it ain’t affecting us. Then suddenly everything stopped and there was silence but the great one was still on the verse. Even mama was silent and Mrs Nova too. As Mrs Nova was wondering what’s happening a huge strike of lightening hit her to death and the great one said Amen. Mrs Nova’s Tokoloshes disappeared and the good light left too leaving the room dark. The Great one fell on the floor and I rushed to give her water. I had to go out and get the water from the kitchen, since everything inside was broken.

when I got back I found her sitting at the couch waiting for me. She thanked me for being strong and brave. She told us to go home and rest cause my life will soon begin. On our way home I received a call from a friend of mine saying Mrs Nova’s house is on fire and they saw a big snake running out. The village men went after it and luckily they found it.

Before we went home we wanted to see this with our own flash so we passed at Mrs Nova’s hose to testify. Few days later I received a call saying I must come for interview and I got the job as a HR at Tibane Thabane. Later my blessings were opened, I later went to university finished my course and now I’m a qualified Accountant.

I got married last year to a priest and we have a child on the way. My life wasn’t easy but what I learnt is put God first in everything then he’ll be your light. My friends too managed to become successful in life.

It wasn’t easy to sleep with Tokoloshes without knowing. Mrs Nova’s children want justice for their mother but they don’t know who was involved in defeating their mother. I wonder why cause they never loved their mom and they thought she was wicked and wanted nothing to do with her. I guess my question will remain an Rhetorical question.
