After some few weeks the incident happened it was finally pension day. I knew that Mrs Nova would definitely come out of her house but on that day she didn’t. It shocked me, mom and my friends. We asked ourselves a lot of questions why didn’t she come. 

3 days after the pension the prophet came to our house unexpected. She told us what we knew first the after added what we never thought of. Firstly it was because me and my friends saw her secrets that night we were drunk. Secondly she was jealous cause we stayed with our parents and didn’t leave them just like her kids did. Lastly her snake needed a wife, no, no, no, not a wife actually wives. 

Before she used to sleep with the snake but now she is tired so she needed people to continue feeding the snake. Sometimes it was not the snake but her Tokoloshes that why we wake up in the morning feeling pain and our beddings being wet. This was the reason why we couldn’t find work nor continue studying. She blocked our ways cause she knew once we leave town she won’t be able to have power. 

Those were terrifying news to all of us. Our only mistake was being there when she was busy being wicked after telling us the truth it started being windy outside as if there’s a cyclone on the way. All trees were bending left to right showing the wind is from the north side. We went out to see what’s going on and outside it was dark light as like it’s already the evening while it is 3pm. The clouds changed becoming darker than usual changing the daylight to night light. Then they was thunder, it started striking a little bit loud, then second time a bit louder than first time after they was a huge thunderstorm leaving everything shaking. 

While we were focusing on that a lightening strikes to where we were standing. Just like it my dream the thunder beats 3 times then there’s huge lightening to show that the lightening is man made it stroked twice, at our gate and to us. The prophet told us to go back inside. We went inside the house then she took out an exe, put it straight at the door and left the door opened. Then after sprinkled some holy water together with salt all over the house. After she was done she took her holy stick, stood at the door but before putting the exe and all the holy stuff we waited for the first thunder to beat and in 2 minutes it did. 

On the third thunder a huge lightening stroked at our, hit the exe causing the door to close hard then it breaks. The prophet kept on beating up the door way with her holy stick. It was like she is a mad person cause we didn’t see anything there but she kept on beating up the door way. 

We heard a woman’s voice shouting ouch. Then everything disappeared like nothing happened. It was all sunny again, all the dark clouds were gone and it was sky blue. It’s like a miracle has just happened. Mom couldn’t stop giving thanks to the prophet as she saved our live but our journey was far from being over. 

We needed to defeat Mrs Nova, we needed to find a way to stop this cause we knew she is coming back for revenge. At night I wouldn’t sleep, the snake and the Tokoloshes would always be outside my room since they can’t enter anymore. I don’t know about my friends cause they always wanted to keep this suffering a secret. I would hear something walking outside the yard every night but wouldn’t enter the house. 

One good morning I decided to go for a jog on my way back I bumped into Mr Nova, walking in crutches. She didn’t even look me in the eye. She continued looking her way as I did the same. When I got home I told mom about everything as she immediately put the pieces together. Seems like that lightening was her or hers something along those lines.
