Thami
“Ntombi will you please shift the meetings i have and make them to be for later today I have somewhere to be.”
“No problem,” she says over the phone.
I grab my phone and jacket and head out, realising that I may have been selfish with my time concerning Thingo I rush to the shops and buy him a couple of toys and go back home with a smile on my face.
When I park the car on the drive way I rush inside and find Thingo on the couch watching cartoons.
“Why are his eyes red?” I ask the minute I place the plastics on the floor.
Mary looks at me dumbfounded. “Oh that. He was playing outside and he fell.”
“Is that right?” I ask, Thingo looks down and nods yes. “Oh I’m sorry ok. Look I brought you a little something.” And his eyes immediately brighten up when looks at the plastics.
“Go on, go have a look.”
He smiles at me as he rushes to the plastics and takes out his toys as fast as his little hands will allow.
