I stayed inside the castle like Xavier said I should. Mother and Cleo went out to help the elderly inside. People from the village came rushing in with their children.

I felt useless by just standing there and doing nothing. I thought about what powers I could use to help my mate in their battle. The problem was I didn’t know where to use it without being too close to them.

I quickly rushed to the balcony and see Vladimir walking towards them with two people held captive. No it can’t be!

Upon taking a closer look, I see two people who might possibly be my parents. Deep down I knew I had to think of something to save them.

Within minutes, the fight between them started. From the balcony I can see that Vladimir’s gang is slowly winning ours.

From the corner of my eye, I see one of his guards sneak into the other side, making his way into the garden. He looks up at me and smirks.

I quickly say one of the spells that I was taught. This is a spell that is used to put up a protective barrier, so that no outsiders can enter.

I smile in victory as I see that he is struggling to get in. He looks up at me and he is mad.

Seeing that the people in the castle is safe, I teleport to a safe place behind the bushes. I can see the fight clearly now, but they can’t see me.

I say another spell. This spell is a spell of slowness. The entire gang of Vladimir becomes slow, giving my people the advantage that they need to win. Xavier finally figures out that I’m the one putting the effect on them he sniffs the air and finds me.

I smirk at him and give him the signal to continue the fight and let me do what I do best. Ever since I leant how to use my powers, I’ve been practicing a lot.

When I see that The effect is starting to wear off, I quickly focus my energy on my enemies and say another spell. This spell is a poisonous spell, making all of Vladimir’s men fall, dying on the spot instantly.

There are only 5 men standing, Vladimir, the one that tried to get into the castle and and 3 others I also do not know. Vladimir figured out by now that I’ve used my magic on his men. Hah, who’s laughing now.

Some of the guards quickly but silently moved my mother and father away from the men. I’ve used an invisible spell on our guards so that they cannot be seen.

I focus my energy on the last man on Vladimir’s left side and I keep my focus on him until a ball of blue light is in the center of my hand. I throw the light at him making him fly back, instantly dying.

I continue to use my spell until only Vladimir and one man I don’t know, are the only ones left. Now it was two against 10. I decide to rest, since my magic drained most of my energy. I sit one side and watch the men fight.

I quickly glanced over at the castle and see that The barrier is still there. Filled with relief, I turn my focus back to the fight in front of me. Everything was going okay, until I saw my mate on the floor with Vladimir on top of him.

With the little energy I had left, I used my vampire speed and pushed him out of the way. I used my power and picked up my soldiers and put them behind me. I let them all regain energy as I stood in front of all of them. From the corner of my eye, I could see the villages staring through the Windows, some were on the balcony.

He says while licking his lips and looking at me from head to toe. I hear Xavier hiss and snarl behind me, he does not like it when people talk about something so precious to him like that.

He lunged towards my mate with a stake. A stake is a dangerous tool that is used to kill vampires. I quickly put up another protective barrier around us all. The minute he touched, the barrier sent him flying backwards.

I knew that I had to get rid of the man next to him, who’s name I found out was Chase. I gave each man that stood behind me a barrier of their own.

I decide to go after chase while the rest fights off Vladimir.

He lunges at me with a stake in his hand. Before he could touch me, I jump up and do a backflip landing directly behind him. I twist his arm and take the stake from him.

He turns around and I stab him directly in his chest and he dies instantly. Now the only person left is Vladimir.

He turns around and sees he’s best friends body turn into a pile of ashes. This angers him even more and makes him fight for survival.
