Six o’clock in the morning Thembi looks at the doctor. Her life has been difficult since she was forced to marry Kelvin.
“Doctor is everything okay?”
“Fortunately it is a yes.”

“Doctor I need your help. I don’t want this man anymore.”

“Why?”

“He does everything to me. I didn’t plan to have this child.”

She cries holding a baby. Monalisa was crying so loud so her mother gave her breast milk. The doctor leaves the room. On the side Thembi was writing a letter and apologizing. Few minutes later she got ready to go.

” Monalisa my child I love you my child. I wish the best for you and your family. I am tired of everything that your dad does to me. Ndiyakuthanda sana lwami.” She kissed her baby goodbye.

Twenty years later, Monalisa was staying with her father and her family. She was always out and she would come back after two weeks. Kelvin pretended that everything was okay when Monalisa wanted facts about her mother.

They would tell her that her mother passed away by accident.

“Monalisa I need you to stop taking drugs.”

” Don’t tell me anything dad! You lost your job because they called you a rapist. You thought that I never knew.”

“Shut up!” Kelvin screams at Monalisa.

“Now you are shouting at me dad. I’m old I can make my own decisions.”

She bangs the door without saying a word.
